I would like to express my sincere appreciation and admiration for the outstanding job you and your crew did on my porches and driveway! Your company totally exceeded all my expectations! I was thoroughly impressed with every one of your employees and their professionalism, dedication, craftsmanship, and the way they attacked the job and knocked it out! Imagine my suprise then when I found out after the job was all done, that the fellow who did the estimate and supervised the work was none other than the President and owner of the company, himself (you sly guy!) I was even doubly impressed!

I have had in the past, well, shall we say, some "less than satisfactory" experiences with home improvement contractors. I was wondering also this time if I would have to be the "picky, complaining" home-owner carefully watching the crew to make sure things were done right, on schedule, and that I, my family, and my property were respected. Your folks, however, went "above and beyond" in all respects! I was totally comfortable with them. They were always polite and had a smile on their face. I even felt I might be in their way or disturbing them when I came out to see the "action" and learn a bit about the concrete business. My employer thanks you too, by the way, as I was able to get a lot of my own work done, as well! Who may not thank you, however, will be any future contractos I hire, as you have truly set the highest standards for the home-owner-to-contractor relationship and job performance. You're going to be a very hard act to follow!

You should know, too, that a number of my neighbors have come by and admired the work. Of course, they have your name and number! And if I ever hear of any of my friends or associates, or anyone else that needs concrete work in this town, you're the only one I'll refer them to, telling them not to bother calling anyone else! And please do not hesitate to give any prospective customers my name and number if they want to talk to a fellow home-owner.

... I just wanted to pass on to you guys a copy of a letter I sent Al Foster of "Flat & Fancy, Inc." They truly do as their business cards say: "Quality Concrete Work". My front porch fell about two inches this past August and cracked pretty badly. And my driveway has been imparting quite a few "strange bounces" during father-son basketball games in the past few summers. "Flat & Fancy" came in, tore out the old stuff and in with the new! And I have to tell you, as thoroughly impressed as I was with the work they did, I was just as thoroughly disgusted with the poor job that had been done by the builders of the house, which became very evident as "Flat & Fancy" pulled up the original "stuff". Suffice it to say that the initial "slop and quick" concrete work was like a rickety old out-house compared to the "Fort Knox" "Flat & Fancy" did for me!! This porch and driveway will be standing long after the house falls to dust!!

So, if the topic comes up, please let any of your listeners and emailers know that we've got a great concrete contracting firm in town! Don't worry; I'm not getting "finders fees" for any jobs I refer to them! I just like to let folks know when someone has really done a great job. We hear too much these days about sloppy work and bad home improvement contractor stories (got a couple myself). But now I've got a real success story, too!
